Our coaching services.

One-on-one.

Four times a month, you and me.

We work with you to develop a plan of action to achieve your writing goals. No matter what level you are in your writing we can work together. We offer introductory and advanced individual writing coaching, thesis and dissertation support, manuscript evaluation, and book development support and we can answer your most frequently asked questions about how to get published.

The best way to improve your writing for the long term is simply to get a writing coach. When you find your co-authors, reviewers and friends complaining about your writing, pointing out the same problems time and again, it’s time to get a coach.

Getting a coach will also give you social accountability for your writing - your commitment will help you advance rapidly during busy periods when writing would get pushed aside.

Group coaching.

Writing is typically a solo endeavor, but finding a community of writers that support one another can be a great source of inspiration and encouragement. Whether you’re a published author, a graduate student, or want to start crafting your first book or article, a writing group can offer a supportive environment of like-minded people who share a passion for telling stories. This writing group is a circle of people who meet regularly to read, discuss, and critique one another’s work. Group facilitator and members offer constructive feedback to help their peers shape their projects.

Virtual meetings Thursdays 7-8:30pm est.
